Dr. Abduzhappar Gaipov is a board-certified nephrologist. He obtained his MD degree from Akhmet Yassawi University (2004, Kazakhstan) and graduated his Doctorate program in Clinical Science (Internal Medicine) from National Scientific Medical Center (2005, Kazakhstan). He has completed 18 months research fellowship program in 2011-2012 years (Selcuk University Meram School of Medicine, Konya, Turkey) as well as one year Advisory program (2016) granted by European Renal Association. He has also completed his Postdoctoral Visiting Scholar (ISN Research Fellowship) during January 2017 to July 2018 at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN, USA supperted by International Society of Nephrology and UTHSC. Dr. Gaipov has gained knowledge, skills, and experiences working with large database management and analyzing these data using advanced statistical methods. Dr. Gaipov is active member of ISN, ERA-EDTA, TTS, TDTD, and Kazakhstan Society of Nephrologists, Dialysis & Transplant Physicians. He is the chair of ISN NIS&Russia region board (2020-2022). Currently, he is an associate professor at the Nazarbayev University School of Medicine. He has published more than 90 peer-review papers and he provides the role of editor and reviewer in many journals. Currently he is PI of the many projects granted from NU and MES and he supervises many master and doctoral students. |
