Brief bio

Larissa Gennadievna Makalkina began her career in 1990 after graduating from the Tselinograd State Medical Institute, at the Department of General and Clinical Pharmacology.

Throughout her professional career, she has been engaged in teaching students, master’s and doctoral students, and conducting research at Astana Medical University in the field of Clinical Pharmacology. She headed the Drug Information and Analytical Center at the RSE on the Right of Economic Management “Republican Center for Healthcare Development” and supervises master’s and doctoral dissertations.

She participated in the development of 42 treatment protocols for the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan and has 45 publications, including 5 with impact factor. She holds 6 authorship certificates, 1 patent for an invention, and 8 methodological recommendations and manuals for practical healthcare (translated to state language-2), 12 drug bulletins for healthcare professionals and the public (translated to state language), and 2 implementation acts.
