Brief bio

Zhanyyl Bozaeva is Programme Coordinator and Team Leader at the FAO Liaison and Partnership Office in Kazakhstan, a role she has held since 2021. She previously served as National Manager of the FAO regional CACILM-2 project, and as National Specialist for the Global Environment Facility and UN Framework Programme of Assistance at FAO Kazakhstan. Her work focuses on natural resources management, agricultural development, and strengthening national and regional partnerships.

Before joining FAO, Zhanyyl managed research projects at the Talap Centre for Applied Research and worked in the transfer and commercialization of agricultural technologies at the National Agrarian Scientific and Educational Centre under the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.
