Short Biography

Lyudmila Aleksandrovna Lider is a Candidate of Veterinary Sciences and Acting Professor at the Institute of Animal and Veterinary Sciences of the S. Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University.
Date of birth: January 8, 1976 (Tselinograd).

Education:

  • Graduated from Chemistry-Biology Lyceum No. 11 (1993).

  • Graduated with honors from the Akmola Agricultural Institute, majoring in Veterinary Medicine (1998).

  • Postgraduate studies at S. Seifullin KazATU (2000–2003).

  • Candidate of Veterinary Sciences (2004), Associate Professor of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2010).

Professional Experience:

  • Research intern at the Department of Infectious Diseases (1998–2000).

  • Assistant (2003–2005), Senior Lecturer (2005–2010), Associate Professor of the Department of Veterinary Medicine (2010–2024).

  • Since 2024 — Acting Professor at the Institute of Animal and Veterinary Sciences.

Scientific Supervision:
Supervised 1 doctoral student, 9 master’s students, and more than 30 bachelor’s students; currently supervises 2 master’s students and 1 PhD doctoral student.

Internships and International Programs:
Recipient of DAAD, Erasmus Mundus, and Erasmus+ scholarships; participated in multiple internships in Germany, Switzerland, Russia, France, China, Turkey, Latvia, Uzbekistan, and Azerbaijan.

Scientific Projects:
Participant in international and national scientific projects of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan.
Principal investigator of a grant from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (2023–2025) on studying the genetic diversity of zoonotic parasites in cats.

Scientific Achievements (last 10 years):
5 patents, 3 textbooks, 5 production recommendations.
More than 50 scientific articles, including 23 in Scopus and Web of Science journals. Hirsch Index: 5.
Recipient of the state grant “Best University Teacher” (2013); Certificate of Honor from the Ministry of Agriculture (2024).
