Graduated from Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University in 2011, completed a master's degree at the University of Manchester (MSc Medical Microbiology) under the Bolashak scholarship in 2021.
Dariga has experience as a clinical microbiologist/bacteriologist at both the National Center for Epidemiology and the Astana Children's Multidisciplinary Hospital (6-7 years). Chief expert at the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan during 2022-2023. She is a member of various international societies for clinical microbiology – ESCMID (Young scientist member, Local Champion & Reviewer), ASM (Global outreach member).
She has completed a number of international internships and training courses organized by ESCMID in 2022 in Croatia and by ECDC in 2024 in Sweden. She was also a member of the Dzensaulyq project team, which won a grant from The Trinity Challenge (UK) to implement an information campaign on AMR in 2024.
